Frequently Asked Question

ATI (Assessment Technologies Institute) is one of the testing and study platforms used in your nursing program. You'll use it for practice assessments, proctored assessments, and Focused Review remediation. This article shows you how to create your ATI account, sign in, join your institution or class if you're prompted, and reset your password.

The details that connect your account to your school and class (your institution name, your class or cohort, and any student registration information) come from your instructor. Have those handy before you start.

Create or sign in to your ATI account:

1. Open a web browser and go to https://www.atitesting.com.
2. If you already have an ATI username and password, enter them and sign in. You're done.
3. If this is your first time, select the option to create an account (look for a Create Account or Sign Up/Register link near the sign-in box).
4. Follow the on-screen steps to enter your name, a valid email address, and a username and password. Use your Jersey College email address if your instructor told you to.
5. Write down your ATI username and password and keep them somewhere safe. Your ATI login is separate from your Jersey College login.

Join your institution or class if you're prompted:

1. During or after account creation, ATI may ask you to confirm your institution (school) or enter institution/class details.
2. Choose or enter exactly what your instructor provided. Do not guess.
3. If you're asked for a class, cohort, or any registration number, enter the one your instructor gave you.
4. Finish the steps until you reach your ATI home page (your dashboard).

If you forgot your ATI password:

1. Go to https://www.atitesting.com and select the link to recover your username or password near the sign-in box.
2. Enter the email address or username on file with ATI and follow the instructions.
3. Check your email (including your Junk/Spam folder) for the reset message and create a new password.
4. Note: this resets your ATI password only. It does NOT change your Jersey College password.

Tips:

• Your ATI account is a vendor account and is not the same as your Jersey College username (firstname.lastname) or password.
• If your school, class, or institution information looks wrong, don't try to fix it by guessing. Ask your instructor to confirm the correct details first.
• Use a current, updated browser and a stable internet connection for the best experience.
